Sorry about not responding earlier, I had jaw surgery and am just now starting to catch on up things.
Hitsugaya is a hard character to write. I normally have to work on his scenes three or four times and sometimes I have to send them off to my good friend and beta to see if I am anywhere near the realm of his personality. The thing that I like about manga characters is that you can play with the characters, work with them, and sort of develop your own personal cannon. I am far more comfortable with Hinamori than I am Hitsugaya, but for me they sort of come in a pair so I had to kind of figure out how I wanted him to respond to her and see how that related with how he had cannonly responded to things. How I view them has changed over the years, but the process is still somewhat the same.
I am rambling here, so I will stop with: it is always a work in progress. :)
On that note I am thrilled that you like my stories and I am also thrilled that you like my characterization of my characters. Thank you very, very, much. You have made my day (again).
And if any of that does not make sense, well I apologize ahead of time. I am still quite heavily medicated and sometimes I think I am making sense, when in reality I am not. ♥
